I’m just getting off work, after getting an e-mail that the problem at work is solved! Yes! Alas, I bump into the Los Compadres food truck! This was perfect as I was craving some soft shell tacos. I order the Taco Trio to try a bit of everything. Let’s start with beef. The mixture of the beef, potatos and spicy salsa worked well together. I found the potato to be a good substitute for lettuce as this kept the taco piping hot. Next up is the chicken. It was really nice with the milder salsa, the kick was still enough to keep this taco flavorful. Last but not least is the pulled pork with onions and parsley. The parsley and onions gave the pulled pork a whole new life, and it complimented it’s salsa well as this one had more tomato. One thing about eating this one last is that the taco shell had soaked up the juices and ripped as I was trying to eat it. But all in all it was a good taco. Food for thought is next time try the Compadres combos that also come with Churros. Overall, I thought the food was pretty authentic and full of flavor, I give this joint a 8.5/10. :D
